About Barefoot
In 2012, after successfully running an event agency for many years, I followed my heart and founded Barefoot Painting & Decorating, a company that allowed me to channel my skills and experience into something more personal and meaningful. With a focus on designing and delivering moods, atmospheres, and styles in people's homes, I started with interior and exterior painting, then added restoration of beautiful solid wood flooring and doors.
Soon customers asked for my ideas about colour, so I added Colour Design as an optional service. Today, I am proud to be able to use computer visualizations to help create the perfect color combination for each individual's unique home. I'm equally happy "just doing the painting" as providing a complete Colour Design for you

We can spray paint your kitchen units and bedroom wardrobes for a perfect, factory finish. And if you don't want the hassle of the work in your home, we'll take the doors away and deliver them back and refit as part of our service.
Bathrooms are humid environments which need special preparation and paint types that ensure a lasting result, free of recuring the most frustrating common problem - peeling paint. We never simply sand back and paint over failed paint. In fact, our paints let dampness trapped in the walls permeate into the atmosphere.

Exteriors
Are you worried about the condition of your home's exterior? Just like our skin, it requires proper care and attention.
We know that exterior jobs can be a hassle, especially when paint deterioration is involved. That's why we offer an assessment of your exterior paint's condition to ensure that your home stays safe and that you save money. Our service gives your home's exterior the lovely finsh it deserves, and ensures the paint lasts as long as it says on the tin.
We use specialised tools for all surfaces including pebbledash render, timber , soffits and fascias and barge boards. Weather boards, often found on barns and stables, can be time consuming and costly to paint. Our spraying service is the ideal technique, cutting time and ensuring an even coverage for maximum durability and smooth paint finish. Job done!
The loss of traditional windows from older buildings poses one of the major threats to our heritage. They're an integral part of the design of older buildings, often made with great skill with materials of a higher quality than available today. Sadly, we often find them beyond painting. So, call Barefoot to arrange a free window survey before its too late!
Whether we're working on a listed manor house or a two-bedroom semi, we always prioritize preparation, which can take four times longer than painting. If we notice blistered or flaking paint anywhere, we'll scrape, grind, sand and sweat till we find solid material to start our painting process.
It's that simple!
We're committed to researching the latest paint technologies that offer maximum durability. One of the most interesting is Graphenstone, a UK manufacturer of paints proven to be 100% environmentally sound and used by the National Trust. These paints contain graphite nanoparticles for ultimate durability while allowing brickwork to breathe.

We can't paint in the rain, but we can when its colder then standard UK paints allow. Scandinavian and North American exterior paints will harden in colder weather making it possible to work earlier and later in the year.
